We are currently seeking dedicated Gatehouse Security Guards to join our team at our client's site in Swanbank, Queensland.
About the role
As a Gatehouse Security Guard, you will be the first point of contact for all contractors and visitors entering the site.
Your role is critical in maintaining site safety, enforcing access control, and ensuring smooth daily operations.
Key responsibilities
Managing gatehouse operations and monitoring access control systems.
Checking and verifying credentials for staff, contractors, and vehicles.
Conducting PPE and safety compliance checks before entry.
Carrying out regular foot and buggy patrols to monitor site safety and security.
Maintaining accurate visitor and vehicle logs.
Delivering clear briefings and toolbox meetings to security personnel.
Supporting and mentoring fellow guards to uphold site standards.
Providing professional customer service to all site stakeholders.
Ensuring consistent compliance with site safety and security procedures.
Roster
Permanent shifts, 12 hours each, across 7 days in a 2-week cycle.

Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you will need:
A valid QLD Security Licence (Security Operations).
Experience in the security industry.
Current First Aid certification.
Valid driver's licence and reliable transport.
Full-time availability and full working rights in Australia.
Strong communication skills (spoken and written).
Computer literacy and customer service experience.
Flexibility to adapt to changing site needs.
Team-oriented mindset with a drive to succeed and advance.
