Mechanical Field Technician – Service & Repairs
CAPS Australia is on the hunt for a Trade Qualified Field Service Technician to join our high-performing Adelaide team. If you're looking for a hands‐on role where you're trusted to do what you do best — with the backup of a supportive team — this is your chance to step into something solid and long‐term.
You'll enjoy variety, autonomy, and the satisfaction of problem‐solving on‐site. Work Monday to Friday (approx. 7:30 am to 3:30 pm), with no two days the same, and everything you need provided – including a modern, fully equipped service vehicle.

What You'll Be Doing
* Preventative maintenance and servicing of air compressors and diesel generators
* Diagnosing faults and responding to breakdowns at customer sites
* Recommending system improvements and collaborating with internal teams
* Travelling throughout Adelaide and nearby regions with daily variety
What We're Looking For
* A recognised mechanical or electrical trade qualification (e.g., Cert III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade or equivalent) – required
* Strong fault‐finding and diagnostic skills
* Prior experience with compressors or generators (preferred but not essential)
* A proactive, safety‐first attitude and good communication skills
