Key Roles and Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly skilled Storeperson to join our team in Launceston. As a Storeperson, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, including receiving and storing stock, picking and assembling customer orders, and loading trucks efficiently and safely.
Your day-to-day tasks will involve rotating across dry, chilled, and frozen duties, managing inventory, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. You will work closely with our team to ensure that all tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
About This Role
* Pick and assemble goods accurately
* Load trucks efficiently and safely
* Receive, put away, and rotate stock
* Maintain tidy and accurate bin locations
* Perform duties in freezer environments (down to –25 °C)
* Support warehouse housekeeping and safety protocols
* Work overtime when required to meet demand
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A Forklift Licence with reach experience (essential)
* A MR Licence (preferred)
* A TAS Police Clearance Certificate
* Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
* Previous warehouse or Storeperson experience (a plus)
* Good communication and time management skills
* Comfortable working across freezer, chiller, and dry areas
* Able to pass a pre-employment medical (if required)
