Eden Ritchie Recruitment is seeking experienced communications professionals for two AO6 contract opportunities within a major government infrastructure program based on the Sunshine Coast.
These roles sit within a high-profile regional program delivering significant transport and infrastructure projects that will shape the future of the region.
We are recruiting for:
* Senior Advisor – Media, Issues & Reporting
* Senior Communications Advisor – Stakeholder & Project Communications
Both roles play an important part in ensuring communities, stakeholders and the media are informed and engaged as major projects are delivered across the region.

The Roles
As a Senior Communications / Media Advisor, you will help lead strategic communications and engagement initiatives that support the delivery of large-scale infrastructure projects.
Working closely with project teams, stakeholders and leadership, you will develop communication strategies, manage media engagement and deliver clear messaging across multiple channels.
Your work will help connect communities with project updates, highlight local benefits and ensure consistent, transparent communication throughout the life of major infrastructure programs.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities across the two roles may include:
* Developing and implementing strategic communications and media plans
* Managing proactive and reactive media engagement, including responses to media enquiries
* Preparing communications materials including media releases, key messages, social media content and newsletters
* Supporting community and stakeholder engagement initiatives
* Providing strategic communications advice to project teams and senior stakeholders
* Monitoring media and social media coverage, identifying emerging issues and managing potential risks
* Building strong relationships with community groups, contractors and project stakeholders
* Identifying storytelling opportunities to highlight project milestones and community benefits
About You
To be successful in these roles, you will bring:
* Experience in communications, media relations, stakeholder engagement or public relations
* Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver strategic communication or media strategies
* Strong writing skills with the ability to produce clear, engaging and audience-focused content
* Experience working with diverse stakeholders and communities
* The ability to provide strategic advice and manage competing priorities in fast-paced environments
* Experience within government, infrastructure, transport or major project environments will be highly regarded
Tertiary qualifications in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or a related discipline are desirable.
