As The CSSD Manager Your Responsibilities Will Include
* Over-seeing a high standard of evidence-based Sterilization services to the operating theatre and other clinical departments within the hospital
* As the CSSD Manager you will adhere to Australian College of Operating Room Nurses (ACORN) standards and plan, assess, implement and evaluate the cleaning, sterilization and packing of hospital instruments
* Provide clinical leadership - providing direction, support, supervision, teaching and specific clinical specialty direction for CSSD Technicians

Essential Criteria
* Certificate III or IV in Sterilisation Services
* Minimum 3 – 5 years' experience working in a senior role within a CSSD
* Sound knowledge of accreditation standards ACHS/AS/NZ 4187 Standards and HICMR
* Demonstrated ability to show leadership and the ability to work with a wide range of people in a team environment
* Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
* Intermediate computer literacy skills - including MS office and various data bases
* An interest in promoting best practice patient care
* A focus on professional development
