Competitive salary and benefits:
We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.
* Salary range: $100,78 to $127.77 p.h. (L18 - L27)
* 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
* 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
* Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available
About your opportunity
Provide high quality clinical and non-clinical services to benefit the patients of the Townsville Hospital and Health Service (THHS).
Requirements:
Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration
* Qualifications in Psychiatry, recognised by the Royal Australian & New Zealand College of Psychiatrists, and current registration with/or eligibility for registration as a Specialist with the Medical Board of Australia.
* Advanced Certificate in Psychotherapy.
* Ongoing professional development relevant to the delivery of specialist Mental Health Services to maintain appropriate registration and/or association requirements is a requirement of all staff within the MHSG.
* This position requires the incumbent to operate a class "C" motor vehicle and an appropriate licence endorsement to operate this type of vehicle is required.
* This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
* Probation period may apply.
