Civil Engineer – Senior to Principal Level Opportunity to join our Civil Infrastructure team in Brisbane, Gold Coast or Maroochydore.ResponsibilitiesLead and deliver civil engineering projects from feasibility and planning through to detailed design and construction.Manage stakeholder and client relationships and represent AECOM across local and national projects.Provide technical quality assurance and directly supervise small teams, offering mentorship and guidance to junior engineers.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve high‐quality results within budget and on schedule.QualificationsBachelor's degree in civil engineering; Chartered Engineering and National Registration (CPEng RPEQ and NER) are highly desirable.At least 10–15 years of experience delivering multi‐disciplinary projects for a variety of clients, including Queensland Government and Defence.Working knowledge of drainage, utilities and transport infrastructure design principles and Australian standards (e.g. QUDM, SEQ Code, Austroads).Strong engineering judgement with experience leading design and development.Australian citizenship required; prior or current Defence clearance preferred or the ability to obtain a Defence Clearance with AGSVA.BenefitsFlexible work arrangements, including alternative start/finish times, part‐time, job‐sharing and hybrid work options.Purchase up to 6 weeks of additional annual leave per year.Volunteer and representation leave.Flexible public holidays – swap Easter or other holidays for ones that suit you better.We welcome applications from individuals of all backgrounds, including those with disabilities, additional health or mental health needs, and/or neurodiverse conditions.
