Our client is an established employer in Perth, and have a requirement for a Logistics Specialist.
This role is responsible for the management of the logistics 3PL contract and ensuring all warehouse activities, process and systems are compliant.
**Responsibilities and Duties (but not limited to)**:
- Promote benefits of utilising commercial arrangements to manage material movement
- Communicate requirements and constraints to clients to enable collaboration and compliance, resulting in positive outcomes
- Management of relevant contract KPIs/KRAs for accountable operations and contractors
- Manage operational costs of accountable operations to ensure budget targets are met.
- Manage implementation of safety culture and ensure compliance to all safety regulations, policies and procedures. Conduct safety incident investigations, report and corrective actions, when required.
**You will Require**:
- A strong understanding of logistics (3PL and reverse logistics) contracts and warehouse operational activities
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate, influence and negotiate across all levels
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with ERP systems
- Focus on continuous and process improvement in an operational environment
