Construction Opportunities – Mobile Crane Operators, Riggers, HR Truck Drivers
Indianic Group Pty Ltd is seeking experienced and motivated Franna Operators, Rigger/Dogmen, and HR Truck Drivers to join our WA-based team on a fixed-term or casual basis.
We are currently seeking suitably qualified and experienced construction workers for a key project in Carnarvon WA over the next six months and beyond and are offering competitive day rates with flexible 3:3 FIFO (Perth-based) roster options, giving you the ideal balance between work and lifestyle.
About the role as Franna Operator / Basic Rigger:
· Operate/Rig Terex Frannas and vehicle loading cranes (CN / CV tickets)
· Conduct pre-operational inspections and ensure the crane is in safe working condition.
· Effectively communicate with riggers, signal persons, and team members to ensure safe and precise lifting operations.
· Interpret load charts and ensure proper lifting practices in accordance with safety regulations.
· Work together to plan and execute complex lifts, ensuring loads are properly secured and moved safely
· Adhere to all workplace health and safety policies and procedures to protect yourself and others on site
· Collaborate with the site supervisor and other team members to coordinate crane activities and meet client deadlines
· Maintain detailed logs and records of all crane operations and activities
About the role as HR Truck Driver:
· Operate tractors and heavy rigid civil construction vehicles to meet project deliverables.
· Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle roadworthiness and safety
· Adhere to all relevant road traffic rules and regulations, as well as internal safety policies and procedures
· Provide exceptional customer service to clients and stakeholders
What we're looking for:
· Proven experience in your field, ideally within the mining or construction industries
· Hold a valid High Risk Work License for the operation of the relevant crane classes along with a construction industry white card.
· Valid Heavy Rigid (HR) driver's license for relevant truck driving jobs. Minimum two years experience.
· Recent completion of a Verification of Competence (VOC), or confidence in passing one prior to mobilising.
· Excellent understanding of crane safety protocols and 'Basic' rigging techniques
· Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to handle unexpected situations
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines
· Commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant work environment
· Meticulous in the detail of care, maintenance and cleaning for our equipment and fleet.
· It is vital that you excel in communication skills and demonstrate a proactive approach to working with others and contributing positively within our team.
· Strong understanding of pre-operational inspection processes and key checks before operation.
· A valid National Police Clearance or a willingness to obtain one for permanent positions.
· Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening.
