As a key member of our events team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional results in managing annual scientific meetings and providing high-level input into the College's Annual Scientific Congress (ASC).
The primary objective of this role is to lead and coordinate the planning, management, and execution of high-profile events, ensuring all operational elements are delivered within strict timelines.
Responsibilities:
* Oversee onsite delivery during key events, including supervision of staff and volunteers to ensure seamless execution and high standards of performance.
* Provide expert advice and support to colleagues in the operational process for ASC, including registrations, invoices, and billing, reporting, query resolution, and onsite registration management.
* Develop virtual platforms and provide technical advice to senior stakeholders.
* Identify and engage sponsors/exhibitors and monitor sponsorship deliverables to ensure contractual obligations are met.
* Produce comprehensive reports and analyses for quality control and continuous improvement of event activities.
Requirements:
* Extensive experience in strategising, planning, and executing conferences and events of varying scales.
* High-level competence with event-related software, such as EventsAir.
* Advanced computer skills, including webpage editing and virtual platform development.
* Ability to shift priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities in a pressured and challenging environment.
