**Showcase your expertise in engagement strategy development and delivery of engagement programs in this Key Reform Taskforce.**
**_ The Role:_**
As an EL1 equivalent, you will be part of a small team working collaboratively to deliver on government water reform commitments and genuine deliberative engagement.
Identify, prepare and manage the overall engagement workplan of the taskforce and coordinate across multiple teams working in a similar space on similar issues with the same key stakeholders.
There will also be opportunities to contribute to the work of the taskforce through policy and program activities and to provide wide-ranging advice.
This role will initially be offered as a 6 month labour hire contract, with the possibility of up to 12 month extension. The team are based in Canberra and Sydney, but working with stakeholders nationally, so some flexibility offered with relation to location and work arrangements.
**_ Knowledge and experience_**:
- Understanding of engagement strategy and delivery principles
- Knowledge of and compliance with government processes and decision making
- Ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels in relation to taskforce objectives
- Ability to identify, anticipate and respond to stakeholder needs and expectations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage workflow and resources in a dynamic and busy environment
- Can do attitude with desire to deliver outcomes
- Strong commitment to keeping internal lines of communication open with existing teams and agencies
- Australian Citizenship to obtain and maintain a Baseline clearance
