Key Responsibilities
We are seeking a skilled Tradesperson to join our team. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for conducting routine corrective maintenance and fault repair on locomotives.
The role requires strong technical skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. You will also be required to report on actual work performed against the scheduled work program and ensure all work is performed in accordance with technical and operational specifications.
You will be responsible for maintaining all records and associated documentation relating to asset condition, maintenance programs and costing systems. Additionally, you will progress the implementation and application of work procedures and practices in pursuit of ensuring continuous quality improvement.
In this role, you will support other WA maintenance depots as per EA agreement.
* Maintenance and Repair: Conducting routine corrective maintenance and fault repair on locomotives

* Quality Assurance: Ensuring all work is performed in accordance with technical and operational specifications
* Record Keeping: Maintaining all records and associated documentation relating to asset condition, maintenance programs and costing systems
* Process Improvement: Progressing the implementation and application of work procedures and practices in pursuit of ensuring continuous quality improvement
* Team Support: Supporting other WA maintenance depots as per EA agreement
