Provide executive and business support to the CIP Leadership Team through advice, problem solving, risk analysis, and strategic planning to support the delivery of services within the three program areas of CIP.
- Identify opportunities for business improvement within CIP's financial and human resource processes, policies and systems, and ensure compliance with such processes, policies and systems.
- Maintain and review administrative systems to ensure efficient and accurate preparation and processing of correspondence, memos, reports and briefing notes, and coordinate the storage and archiving of these items.
- Foster and drive a culture of excellence in service delivery, innovation and continuous improvement, within the Business Team and across CIP,
- Manage and coordinate the collection, analysis, completion and reporting of corporate governance information; within the areas of: business and strategic planning; financial reporting; workforce and human resource reporting; complaints management; estimates committee reporting; risk and disaster management; business continuity planning; establishment management; and fraud control.
- Manage the planning, development, delivery and monitoring of financial services within CIP to ensure the efficient operation of its Courts and Programs within the areas of: financial processes; procurement; budgets; travel; and the Department's financial systems.
- Coordinate high level secretariat support to the CIP Leadership Team and prepare high-level correspondence and other briefing material as required.
- Support, contribute and cultivate cultural capability within the operations of programs, established under CIP, to assist vulnerable people coming into contact with the justice system.
- Guide and develop the Business Team through managing workloads, professional development, performance management and mentoring.
- Provide strong and effective leadership of the Business Team to achieve CIP business goals in line with the CSQ and Department of Justice and Attorney-General Strategic Plans and operational goals.
