**General Manager - Food and Beverage Venues Opportunity**

We are seeking a results-driven General Manager to lead the restaurant and In Room Dining outlets at our prestigious property.

The ideal candidate will be a passionate leader with a proven track record in driving revenue, upholding Forbes and LQA standards, and fostering a luxury service culture.

As General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of our venues by overseeing day-to-day operations, developing training programs on delivering exceptional guest experiences, and supporting the overall growth of the establishment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Team Leadership and Development: Work in partnership with the ARC Restaurant Chef to execute flawless operation, recruit, train, and mentor colleagues, ensuring a positive and motivating work environment, and conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
* Revenue Generation: Develop and implement innovative strategies to drive revenue and maximize profitability, while collaborating with the marketing team to create promotions and social events.
* Forbes and Leading Quality Assurance Standards: Uphold the highest standards of excellence, as set by Forbes and LQA.
* Sustainability, Health, and Safety Compliance: Actively participate in the Fairmont Sustainability Program, Food Safety Committee, and maintain strict adherence to health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe and clean environment for both guests and staff.

Requirements:

* A minimum of 3 years of experience in a senior management role within a luxury restaurant or hotel setting.
* An entrepreneurial mindset with strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
* A proven track record in driving revenue and achieving financial targets.
* Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
* Excellent attention to detail and a passion for maintaining high standards in all aspects of the restaurant's operation.
* Ability to work effectively with programs including Microsoft Office, Open Table, Opera, and Silverware.
* Adept at problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict resolution.
