Job Description
Harlsan is a leading Australian manufacturer and global supplier of premium RC and DTH drilling equipment. Established in 1992, Harlsan supplies drilling consumables to companies worldwide. Located in Osborne Park and Kalgoorlie, WA, we are currently looking for a hardworking and dedicated CNC Fitter to join our team.
Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 per year.
Responsibilities
* Accurately read and interpret drawings and specifications.
* Fit, assemble, and test mechanical parts and subassemblies using tools such as micrometers, gauges, torque wrenches and alignment instruments.
* Conduct routine machine maintenance and ensure CNC equipment operates efficiently and within tolerance limits.
* Adjust machine settings to meet required specifications and ensure quality control throughout the manufacturing process.
* Diagnose mechanical faults in equipment and undertake corrective actions, including replacing or modifying components.
* Operate hand and power tools to perform fitting tasks including drilling, grinding and tapping.
* Follow workplace safety standards and ensure proper use of PPE during machine operation and maintenance tasks.
* Maintain accurate production and maintenance records in accordance with company procedures.
* Collaborate with engineers and production teams to optimise machining processes and reduce downtime.
Qualifications
* Relevant trade qualification.
* At least 2 years of work experience.
* Strong adherence to OH&S and proven commitment to a safe workplace.
* Willing to follow detailed instructions and quick learner.
* Ability to perform physical requirements of the role.
