About the Role
We’re looking for a driven and enthusiastic Sales, Marketing and Events Coordinator to join our team at the Larrakia Cultural Centre.
You’ll play a key role in growing our profile, building strong stakeholder relationships, and ensuring a high-quality experience for clients and visitors. While our admin team manages event logistics, you’ll be the main point of contact for event enquiries and responsible for delivering effective marketing campaigns.
This is an exciting opportunity to help position the Centre as a leading destination for cultural tourism in the Top End.
What You’ll Do
- Manage inbound event and venue hire enquiries
- Promote the Centre through digital and traditional marketing channels
- Coordinate the customer experience and support cultural event delivery
- Build partnerships with community, corporate, and tourism stakeholders
- Create and schedule marketing content (e.g. social media, email campaigns, flyers)
- Support broader Centre initiatives to grow visitation and revenue
About You
- Experience in sales, marketing, events or tourism (or a combination)
- Tertiary or equivalent qualification in marketing or communications is highly valued
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Confident with digital marketing tools and platforms
- Self-motivated, organised and detail-oriented
- Understanding of local Darwin industry, in arts, culture, tourism, and/or hospitality
About Larrakia Cultural Centre

Our purpose is a place for Larrakia people to share, celebrate and showcase Larrakia Country, Language, Culture and Knowledge with the world.
Larrakia Cultural Centre Limited is a not-for-profit organisation, providing art, language, cultural programs, cultural tourism, events and retail sales.
The Centre will include—meeting rooms, amphitheatre for performances, restaurant, kiosk, retail, exhibition, classrooms, men’s and women’s cultural areas and an arts workshop.
Construction is currently in progress and the Centre is anticipated to open in mid 2026.
