Responsibilities
- Providing bookkeeping and payroll services to a range of clients.
- Reconciliation and payment of superannuation.
- Bank transaction reconciliation.
- Prepare monthly BAS/IAS and Quarterly BASs.
- Provide other general assistance to our accountants.
- Provide guidance and support to junior members of the bookkeeping team.
- Acting as a dedicated account manager and point of contact for clients.
About You – Skills and Experience
Our ideal candidate is someone who can bring the following to the role:
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in accounting software, such as QuickBooks, Xero & MYOB
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

The Minimum Requirements
- Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping in Australia or relevant qualifications.
- 5+ years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting
- Ability to pass a functional pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screen
- Hold a current unrestricted Australian Drivers Licence
- Provide a National Police Clearance obtained within the last 6 months
- Be health, safety and environmentally conscious
- The ability to make practical decisions under pressure
