You'll design secure network infrastructures, identify and mitigate risks, and enforce security policies and standards.
Collaborating with stakeholders across IT and business units, you'll ensure alignment on security initiatives, optimize system performance, and evaluate emerging technologies to strengthen security.
Clear communication of risks and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences is key to your role.
**Key Responsibilites*** Develop and maintain an enterprise-wide technology and data strategy: that aligns with business objectives and supports security needs.
* Design and implement secure network infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network systems.
* Identify and mitigate potential security vulnerabilities: through risk assessments, penetration testing, and other security measures.
* Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures: in compliance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
* Collaborate with various stakeholders: (IT, business units, senior leadership) to ensure alignment and buy-in for security initiatives.
* Monitor and improve the performance of technology and data systems, ensuring they meet security requirements and business needs.
* Research and evaluate new technologies and solutions: to enhance security capabilities and reduce risks.
* Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences: to explain security risks, solutions, and best practices.
## Qualifications & Experience* Strong understanding of networking, security, and IT infrastructure.
* Knowledge of industry standards and best practices: for network and security architecture.
* Experience with security tools and technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and VPNs.
* Ability to analyze complex busZSTUF6iness requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
* Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
* Experience with cloud computing, integration practices, and commercial software applications.
