Role Summary
The Hospital Coordinator, in conjunction with the executive team is responsible for:
* Leading the nursing team to ensure a high standard of clinical service delivery and outcomes are met and complying with relevant legislation and care standards
* Ensuring the operational and clinical requirements of the hospital are met in an afterhours capacity with the support of the executive team
Selection Criteria
* Well-developed clinical nursing and management experience at a senior level in an acute psychiatric care setting
* Consultative leadership style and ability to build rapport and effective relations with key stakeholders
* Highly developed interpersonal skills, conflict management and negotiation skills
* Have a demonstrated knowledge and understanding ofQuality Management System and requirements for accreditation
* Have a thorough understanding of continuous improvement, OH&S and risk management
* A strong commitment to customer service and quality outcomes
* Ability to strategically plan and positively implement change
