About the Position
The School of Nursing and Midwifery at La Trobe University has established a strong national and international reputation in nursing and midwifery research and education. The Clinical Schools provide opportunities for educational innovations, including simulation and clinician-facilitated student supervision.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and coordinate high-quality learning experiences that engage students through tutorials, practical classes, demonstrations, workshops, and clinical sessions.
* Demonstrate a scholarly approach to teaching and contribute to disciplinary teaching pedagogy and research.
* Conduct and publish high-quality research as a member of a team or independently, producing conference papers and international peer-reviewed publications.
Requirements
* Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
* PhD or equivalent accreditation and standing recognised by the University/profession.
* Demonstrated competence in teaching and curriculum development.
* Evidence of high-quality research funded, conducted, and published relative to opportunity.
