As the Head of Enterprise Communications you will have the unique opportunity to play a strategic system-wide leadership role.
Reporting to the National Director of Communications and Brand you will lead a national team and shape the future of how St Vincents communicates. This is more than a job; its a chance to use your expertise in communications to support organisation-wide functions including Digital & Technology People & Culture Mission as well as driving social media digital and brand excellence. You will directly influence how our people partners and the public receive clear timely and values-aligned information.
This is a Permanent Full Time position based in any of our Group Head Offices in Sydney Brisbane or Melbourne on a hybrid working arrangement. There may be a requirement to travel interstate and work outside standard business hours occasionally as part of this role.
Key responsibilities of the role
Shape a Unified Communications Vision : Lead the charge in developing and delivering integrated communication strategies that support St Vincents key organisational functions ensuring a cohesive and compelling message across the organisation. Develop and drive a calendar of communications activity which supports CEO and ELT objectives and builds strategic understanding across the organisation.
Innovate and Lead the Digital Landscape : Take ownership of St Vincents digital presence by providing strategic direction for our social media digital content web and intranet channels driving innovation in digital storytelling and engagement.
Build a High-Performing National Team : Lead and mentor a national team of communications professionals fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
Forge Strategic Partnerships : Work closely with national and jurisdictional peers as well as executive leaders to provide trusted communications counsel and build strong collaborative relationships.
Protect and Elevate Our Brand : Act as a guardian of the St Vincents brand ensuring all communications are aligned with our values tone and brand identity while managing risk and reputation.
Steer Organisational Change : Play a critical role in supporting national change and transformation programs by providing expert communications advice and execution to ensure our people are informed and engaged.
Drive Continuous Improvement : Use data insights and emerging tools to improve the reach engagement and impact of enterprise communications ensuring we are always evolving and adopting best practices.
Things that work for us
Demonstrated experience in communications media or corporate affairs with success in a senior leadership role within a complex multi-stakeholder organisation.
Proven ability to lead high-performing teams across key communications disciplines including corporate communications social media digital content and stakeholder engagement.
Experience partnering with senior executives to develop and deliver communications for enterprise functions or major change programs
Professional qualifications and education in communications media or a related field.
Strong strategic planning project management and content development skills.
Experience working within the health aged care government or not-for-profit sectors is desirable.
