Agricultural Specialist
* As an Agricultural Specialist, you will build and maintain relationships with clients to help them create successful, sustainable, and productive businesses.
You will play a pivotal role in the development of agronomic and technical support services. Responsibilities include:
* Providing technical advice and mentorship to strengthen clients' businesses
* Achieving allocated financial objectives and assisting with forecasting and inventory management
* Promoting staff upskilling through product recommendations and professional development opportunities
* Developing and fostering professional relationships with targeted groups of existing and new clients
* Assisting with field days, farmer meetings, and trial/demonstration work
* Working as part of the rural products sales team to build client relationships and drive success
* Developing spray and fertiliser programs
* Conducting water, soil, and plant tissue testing
You will thrive in a collaborative working environment, be smart and resourceful, and embrace industry research and new technology. A qualification in Agronomy is required, along with the ability to provide high-level customer service and cultivate relationships with potential and current growers.
