We are seeking a skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our finance team. This role will involve supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the business, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, reconciliations, and analysis.
Main Responsibilities:
* Assist with month-end financial reporting and reconciliations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
* Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, maintaining accurate records and up-to-date ledgers.
* Prepare and maintain bank reconciliations, cash flow reporting, and general ledger management.
* Support payroll processing, BAS preparation, and year-end external financial audit information requirements.
* Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders as needed, providing excellent communication and customer service skills.
About You:
* Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Finance, with a strong understanding of balance sheets, P&Ls, and cash flows.
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar Assistant Accountant or Finance Officer role, with a proven track record of accuracy and attention to detail.
* Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and processes.
* A collaborative and proactive approach to work, with a passion for delivering high-quality results and exceeding expectations.
