**Overview**
**Responsibilities**:
- Oversee risk incidents and manage the risk register for IT.
- Facilitate risk workshops to identify key risks and help IT manage risks effectively.
- Ensure compliance with all IT regulations and provide advice to the team.
- Establish and monitor controls for the IT team.
- Report on risk and compliance activities to the internal technology committee and board committee.
- Work closely with IT stakeholders, the 2nd line team, and the CIO to address any issues related to risk and compliance.
- Continuously improve processes and controls.
- Manage issues related to IT projects and identify controls using data to test and improve them.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferable but not mandatory.
- At least 2 years of experience in IT Risk/IT audit ideally within a Professional Services or Financial Services organisation.
- Strong understanding of Australian IT regulations and compliance requirements.
- Experience with establishing and monitoring controls.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with IT stakeholders, the 2nd line team, and the CIO.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
