About the Job
We are seeking an experienced Painter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for painting vehicles, mixing and matching colours, and maintaining a colour library.
Key responsibilities include:
* Mixing and matching vehicle colours
* Building and maintaining a colour library
* Preparing, priming, and painting vehicles as per specifications
* Buffing and denibbing vehicles
* Carefully handling all vehicles
* Notating any extra paint work required
* Reporting any old damage or poor previous repairs to production management
* Cleaning work bays and workshops
* Coaching apprentices when required
About You:
* Trade qualified Painter with experience in painting vehicles
* Minimum 3 years experience working as a trade qualified Painter
* Strong commitment to working safely
* Excellent communication skills
* High attention to detail
* Able to work effectively and collaboratively with colleagues
* Ability to meet strict deadlines
* Reliable, punctual, and hardworking individual who owns necessary tools
