Positions
* Mechanic – permanent, full-time (38 hours per week / 9 day fortnight)
* Workshop Supervisor – permanent, full-time (38 hours per week / 9 day fortnight)
Location
These positions are based at Byron Depot; Council may require work at other sites for operational reasons.
Responsibilities
* Perform a wide range of mechanical repair and maintenance on Council's plant and equipment.
* Work as part of a team to ensure equipment is safe, reliable and compliant with relevant standards.

* Salary in accordance with the NSW Local Government (State) Award; Mechanic: $1,190.06 to $1,475.39 per 38-hour week; Workshop Supervisor: $1,349.61 to $1,673.19 per 38-hour week (dependent on skills and experience)
