Level 2/3 Rope Access Technician - Immediate Start!

We are currently seeking a Level 2 or 3 Rope Access Technician to join our team in Rosebery.
The Role
Reporting to the Site Supervisor, you will conduct various remedial works to external/internal of buildings utilising a range of methods of access, including Rope Access. You will need to be multi skilled across different areas such as painting, patching, rendering, waterproofing, and the use of specialist equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up safety equipment and resources in accordance with expected safe operating standards, procedures and site-specific protocols
- Prepare materials as required with SDS and Sky5 Environmental Plan to perform works within the outlined scope of works
- Perform work tasks in accordance with the relevant Standard, SWMS and Sky5 training
- Utilise agreed access and remedial work methods to expected standards of safety, quality and speed
- Communicate with team members and Site Supervisors regarding any issues and resolve operating issues
- Complete work tasks and retrieve all materials and resources to ensure that work site is left in safe and orderly condition on completion
- Utilise and operate appropriate facade remediation equipment
- Select and utilise appropriate products and prepare in line with manufacturers specifications in reference to specific surfaces and client site requirements
- Utilise available time to work methodically through agreed site work plan stages
- Take prevailing weather conditions into account when working onsite
- Prepare all required resources and equipment prior to work commencement
- Utilise equipment to expected methods and standards to ensure expected standards of professionalism
- Utilise appropriate range of techniques, depending on surface types e.g. brush, roller, spray or pole application
- Utilise painting equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures and manufacturers\' instructions
- Read blueprints and drawings; establish exclusion zone for safe operation
- Complete required time, task and availability administration
Essential Capabilities/Experience
- Relevant trade qualification (highly regarded) or equivalent experience of at least 3 years.
- Minimum of 2 years experience Remedial & Repairs & Maintenance via Rope Access.
- Experience and qualification in rope access/working from heights is necessary for the role with complete and detailed understanding of various rope access techniques.
