You will be responsible for maximising real estate coverage and leveraging client relationships to enhance content performance on news.com.au.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute editorial strategies that elevate real estate journalism.Manage and grow client partnerships, ensuring alignment with editorial standards and audience needs.Hit key performance targets, including audience growth, engagement, and commercial success.Collaborate with internal teams, including editorial, publishing, and clients, to deliver high-quality content.Oversee digital content creators and journalists, providing leadership and coaching.Produce, curate content and edit national sections on news.com.au for audience-first growth outcomes.Analyse audience data and insights to refine content strategies and improve performance.Ensure content meets SEO and social media best practices to maximise reach.Ensure weekend coverage for audience-first approach and seven-day operation.Attend key internal and external stakeholder meetings providing analytics, recommendations and insights.Refine strategies based on performance data to hit key KPIs (key performance indicators), referral and client targets.Who are you?5+ years of experience in digital editing, content partnerships, and/or audience growth.Proven track record in managing content amplification and delivering revenue outcomes.Strong editorial judgment and understanding of audience engagement strategies.Experience in managing teams and leading editorial projects.Knowledge of SEO, digital marketing, and social media trends.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.Understanding of tracking data.Thorough knowledge in analytics, trends and data to make informed decisions on how to maximise audience engagement.DesirableExperience using content management systems (CMS) and analytics tools.Homepage editing and high-level digital production experience.News BenefitsNews Benefits is our way of saying thank you to our people for their valued contribution to News, our audiences, clients and communities.
