About You – Skills & Qualifications
* A Business Degree or Certificate IV in Business is highly regarded, though strong hands‐on experience in a similar role is even more valuable.
* Demonstrated experience leading and managing a sizeable team — you will be responsible for guiding and supporting a team of 16 Accounts Payable professionals, so strong leadership capability is essential.
* Proven experience managing a high‐quality Accounts Payable function within a complex operating environment. This may include:
o Working with a remote and geographically dispersed workforce
o Managing a large and diverse supplier base, including small payments, high transaction volumes, and varied levels of complexity
o Navigating multiple non‐integrated systems that require manual intervention to achieve the best outcomes
* Exceptional organisational skills with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* The ability to confidently prioritise and balance competing demands while maintaining a calm and professional approach.
* A commitment to adding value through process improvement, insightful analysis, and strong stakeholder engagement.
* Resilience and adaptability—working from home and navigating organisational change can be challenging, but the opportunities for meaningful impact and continuous improvement make it worthwhile.
* Willingness to undertake a National Criminal Check.
