Insurance Business Development Executive
As a seasoned sales leader, you will drive business growth in Australia - Victoria, Queensland, and Western Australia by developing strategic initiatives, managing high-performing sales teams, and leading sales efforts to achieve regional revenue goals.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in commercial insurance sales, along with strong leadership skills and the ability to analyze industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive activity. They will also be able to cultivate strong relationships with corporate clients, brokers, and key stakeholders.
This role requires collaboration with underwriting, claims, and marketing teams to deliver comprehensive and competitive insurance packages. Additionally, the successful candidate will provide detailed sales reports, market insights, and forecasts to senior leadership.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement sales strategies to generate new business for our commercial insurance portfolio and achieve regional revenue targets.
* Lead a team of motivated sales professionals focused on delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving commercial insurance growth.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored insurance solutions that meet the unique needs of corporate clients.
* Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including brokers and corporate clients.
* Provide ongoing coaching and support to ensure team members are meeting their sales targets and providing excellent service to clients.
* Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance team performance.
Qualifications and Skills:
* A degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial insurance sales, with a proven track record of success in business development and team leadership.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
