As our Event Logistics Coordinator, you will be joining the Infrastructure team who make up part of the Operations Department.
This is a Long-term Contract position concluding in April 2026, based at our Head Office in St Kilda. Please note, this role will require re-location to Phillip Island for a period of up to 6 weeks for the event.
Reporting into the Division Manager – Event Logistics, this role is responsible for the successful coordination of event logistics and services required to facilitate the implementation and project management requirements for the Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix and Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix.
Additionally, you will:
* Assist with the scheduling, drafting and the timely dissemination of stakeholder communications.
* Assist in the management of facility occupation schedules, handovers, hand backs and defect reporting as needed for circuits.
* Assist in the coordination of circuit paddocks, including liaison with contractors and teams where required.
* Assist with processing invoices, accurate budget tracking and coordination of financial deliverables.
What you'll bring to the role:
* Degree qualified, ideally in event management, project/construction management, engineering, business or other relevant discipline
* Demonstrated event experience, ideally 3 – 4 years
* Significant project management experience, including management or coordination of infrastructure, stakeholder engagement, facility ordering and presenting to key stakeholders.
* Experience of cost control/ budget responsibility.
* Highly developed interpersonal skills, with the proven ability to lead, build effective relations and communicate with a diverse range of people both internal and externally
* Excellent organisation and planning skills with the ability to manage conflicting demands
* A full Diver's License or equivalent from another state and ability to drive a manual vehicle
* A current Police Check and Victorian Working with Children Check (Employee) or be willing to obtain.
