Details: The Canberra Institute of Technology (CIT) is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional to fill the Web Content Officer role in the Web Services team. Reporting to the Digital Content Manager, the successful candidate will maintain and enhance content across CIT’s public websites and intranet, ensuring information is accurate, accessible, and aligned with brand and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) accessibility standards.
The role includes day-to-day content updates, basic website maintenance, analytics reporting, digital asset management, and supporting testing and quality assurance activities. Working collaboratively within a specialist digital team, the Web Content Officer will contribute to the continuous improvement of CIT’s web services and user experiences.

Eligibility/Other requirements:
* Tertiary qualifications or equivalent professional experience in content production or digital communications is highly desirable.
* Familiarity with HTML and CSS is highly desirable.
* All CIT and ACT Public Service (ACTPS) employees are required to complete a National Police Check form prior to employment.
* This position does not require a pre-employment medical.
* This position does not require a Working with Vulnerable People Check.
* This position does not involve supervision of staff.
Notes: A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.
