Who you are
- Formal qualifications in Digital Marketing or equivalent
- 3-5 years experience in digital media, including content creation, and able to demonstrate SEO knowledge and copywriting skills
- Experience in retail marketing, FMCG highly regarded
- Adobe Suite - InDesign, Photoshop, Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro
- Experience using analytics tools - Google Analytics, PowerBI dashboards.
- Experience with heatmapping (Contentsquare or Hotjar) and A/B testing tools (Optimisely) considered a plus.
- Basic HTML knowledge is advantageous but not essential
**Responsibilities**:
As a Digital Content Specialist for the website, you act as a member of both the Marketing function and wider E-commerce team, and proactively contribute to Marketing and E-commerce plans/outputs to deliver the common objectives and goals and secure consistency of content and messaging across channels. Your responsibilities will include, however not limited to:
- Manage the responsive website content localisation process: adjust global material for local adaptation to secure local relevance.
- Continuously optimise the website content, editorial process, and efficiency. Contribute to the development of content with insights, recommendations, and solutions.
- Based on commercial and identified additional local needs, create recent website content with our copywriter when necessary and lead content adaptation.
- Understand search engine optimisation principles, with the ability to write website/online copy in collaboration with our SEO specialist and copy writer to help drive website search results.
- Work closely on a daily basis with SEO, range, merchandising and digital performance functions to secure cross-functional alignment in the wider E-commerce team.
- Coordinate and execute local A/B testing acting in line with guidelines set from Group Digital.
- Actively cooperate with all key stakeholders within commercial and beyond to secure integration, common focus and maximise impact with Selling, HFRD (Home Furnishing and Retail Design), IKEA Food, Digital, CFF (Customer Fulfilment), Communications, Sustainability, BNOF (Business Navigation Operations & Finance), People & Culture and store units.
- Be an active player in driving an open and sharing climate, being a role model of the IKEA values, and contribute to the transformation of IKEA.
Together as a team
IKEA aim to deliver an omni-channel experience that adds value to the many people and inspires a home furnishing movement. In this role you act as a member of the Marketing function, within the Marketing Communications team. You will also work with your partners in the ecommerce team, looking after content on the IKEA website. You will be partnered with other channel content specialists to achieve this, as content is delivered in an integrated way.

This position is permanent full-time based in Service Office, Tempe NSW.
