About the Role
- Assist strategic direction in the identification and setting of (HR) policy direction and prepare advice and recommendations to executive management.
- Assist in managing the development and implementation of HR policy documents including the provision of associated advice to internal stakeholders across the department.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of HR policies, employment and service directives, delegations, procedures and guidelines.
- Undertake research and analysis of current and emerging employment related issues.
- Participate and represent in various internal and external agency meetings, forums and committees.
- Develop and maintain positive and constructive relationships with internal and external clients, vendors, and staff.
About You
- Knowledgeable in the development and evaluation of HR policy documents within a complex service delivery environment
- Understanding of current industrial relations legislation and relevant industrial instruments.
- High level written and verbal communication skills including the ability to write high quality correspondence and briefs with proven research and analysis skills.
- Proven research and analytical skills, and the ability to assess, understand and report on complex issues.
