This role provides strategic analysis and high-level scheme advice on significant initiatives, issues and risks relating to the CTP scheme, Queensland personal injury legislation and injury management policies, systems and services.
Additionally, the role involves leading or facilitating the research, design and management of significant projects which focus on options for strategic development of the scheme.
Role responsibilities:
• Provide high level strategic scheme advice on claims and rehabilitation matters, legislation, systems, costs, trends and performance to internal and external stakeholders.
• Conduct advanced research and analysis (including interpretation of qualitative and quantitative data and information) regarding issues impacting the CTP scheme and personal injury legislation in Queensland.
• Lead and supervise the CTP enquiries line function, ensuring operators are equipped to respond to a range of enquiries from claimants, motor vehicle owners and scheme stakeholders.
• Supervise, support and develop staff to deliver and maintain optimal customer service through the CTP enquiries line. Maintain effective work systems and embrace technology and tools to plan and organise tasks, deliverables, team workflows, information and records.
• Design and manage, or participate in, projects associated with the strategic development or management of the CTP scheme, including undertaking effective liaison and consultation with government and non-government stakeholders.
• Lead meetings, forums and workshops with insurers and service providers, as required, to ensure strategic business outcomes are achieved.
• Contribute to the development of education and information strategies for scheme stakeholders.
What you will bring to be successful in the role:
• Experience managing personal injury claims using best practice claims management, or in personal injury insurance regulation.
• Strong communication skills including good stakeholder management skills.
• Strong teamwork skills including experience working in Agile, cross-functional project management environments.
