What You'll Do:
* Conducting all facets of surveying to support the planning, design, and construction phases of projects
* Utilizing advanced surveying instruments, such as total stations, GPS receivers, UAV Drones and laser scanners, to collect accurate field data
* Analyzing survey data and preparing detailed reports, maps, and plans.
* Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure survey requirements are met and integrated into the project timeline.
* Conducting quality control checks on survey data to ensure accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
* Adhering to safety guidelines and promoting a culture of safety among team members.
* Providing guidance and support to junior surveyors and field crews.
What You'll Bring:
* A relevant surveying qualification (Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Bachelor's degree, or equivalent).
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in the surveying industry.
* Australian residency/right to work, valid manual Australian driver's licence and White Card.
* Proficiency in using surveying instruments and software, including with Leica, 12D, Civil 3D
* UAV Licence
