We’re leading Financial Crime and as a Senior Performance Lead, you are driving workforce strategy and change management to deliver domain-wide impact. You have strong experience in governance, workforce planning, strategy and change management, turning complex data into clear insights and aligned outcomes. Do work that matters : At the heart of CBA’s Financial Crime Domain, this Senior Performance Lead role sits at the intersection of strategy, data and impact. Operating at a true Domain level within Governance and Strategy, you will shape how we plan, mobilise and future‑proof our workforce to stay ahead of complex and evolving financial crime threats. You will lead sophisticated workforce planning initiatives that ensure the Financial Crime Services Division has the right skills, capabilities and capacity now and into the future. Working closely with the Executive Manager Governance and Strategy and the GM Transformation Lead, Financial Crime, your influence will directly support the protection of customers, colleagues and the broader community. This is work where insight, foresight and execution combine to deliver meaningful, enterprise‑wide outcomes. As a highly experienced workforce planning expert, you will translate complex data into clear, compelling insights that enable confident decision‑making at the most senior levels. The role is critical to both current and future workforce strategy, major change initiatives, and the delivery of high‑quality reporting and concise documentation for GMs and senior leaders across the Group. While aligned to the Crews Performance Chapter, your impact is firmly Domain‑wide, leading initiatives, shaping priorities and driving delivery across Financial Crime services and technical capabilities. See yourself in our team: The Chief Operating Officer (COO) Division is the engine room of CBA, where every process we design and execute directly shapes our customers’ experience. Within the Financial Crime Domain (FCD), you’ll be working at the heart of one of the Group’s largest and most complex portfolios, helping to strengthen the bank’s end‑to‑end financial crime capability. This is a role with real scale and purpose, supporting the Group to meet critical regulatory and economic crime obligations while driving operational excellence, disciplined change, and strong performance outcomes that matter. As a Senior Performance Lead, you’ll partner closely with executive leaders up to GM level to turn strategy into action. You’ll lead workforce planning, performance frameworks, reporting and prioritisation across a matrixed environment, enabling high‑performing teams to deliver at pace. This is an opportunity to influence how a critical domain operates, embedding smarter ways of working, lifting performance, and creating sustainable impact in a team that values expertise, challenge and meaningful outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Partner with Domain Leadership to define clear commitments and outcomes, aligning Domain and Crew OKRs to strategic priorities and value delivery. Lead the end‑to‑end coordination of Domain Performance & Risk Forums, QBRs and Big Room Planning to support effective executive decision‑making. Drive disciplined OKR tracking, providing transparent visibility of progress, risks and delivery against commitments. Monitor performance and flow metrics via digital dashboards, delivering timely, data‑driven insights to optimise delivery and uplift standards. Deliver high‑quality governance and performance reporting, clearly articulating risks, insights, recommended actions and escalations. Run targeted initiative deep dives to identify root causes of underperformance and implement improvement actions. Champion continuous improvement through structured problem‑solving and the adoption of best‑practice performance disciplines. Build domain capability by enabling knowledge sharing, consistent ways of working and strong performance management practices. Provide strategic workforce planning oversight, ensuring resourcing and capability align to delivery outcomes efficiently and sustainably. We’re interested in hearing from people who: Bring proven experience across Strategy & Performance and senior-level Business Partnering roles, operating at enterprise scale. Influence, challenge and partner effectively with senior executives and cross‑functional leaders to drive aligned outcomes. Lead end‑to‑end strategic planning cycles and translate strategy into execution using OKRs or comparable performance frameworks. Apply strong analytical and problem‑solving capability to convert complex data into clear, actionable insights. Navigate change and ambiguity with confidence, enabling progress in complex, fast‑paced environments. Communicate with impact through compelling storytelling, tailoring messages to diverse and senior audiences. Demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset with a genuine passion for enabling teams and leaders to succeed.
