Administration & Payroll Support Officer – Brendale

Securcom is a proudly Queensland-owned specialist in electronic security solutions, delivering integrated systems and exceptional service. Due to continued growth, we're seeking an Administration & Payroll Support Officer to join our friendly team based at our Brendale office.

This is a hands-on, full-time position ideal for a motivated individual with strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to administrative and financial tasks.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you'll support our accounts and administration functions, including:

* Processing payroll and maintaining accurate employee records.
* Reviewing and reconciling supplier statements.
* Managing accounts receivable and payable status.
* Preparing, issuing, and receipting invoices.
* Maintaining aged receivables and internal accounting spreadsheets.
* Communicating with clients regarding accounts via email and phone.
* Providing general administrative and accounts support including filing, record keeping, and reporting.

What We're Looking For

You are organised, diligent, and comfortable balancing priorities in a busy environment. You bring a high attention to detail and enjoy being part of a supportive, close-knit team.

The ideal candidate will have:

* Experience in payroll and a sound understanding of EBA's.
* Previous work experience in accounts administration or similar roles.
* Strong data entry accuracy and excellent communication skills.
* Familiarity with MS Office (especially Excel and Word).
* Prior knowledge of Simpro and Xero (highly regarded but not essential).
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

We are offering a full-time position with working hours between 8.00am - 5pm, Monday to Friday, 40 hrs a week with one RDO a month. Remuneration based on qualifications and experience.
