Bathurst Regional Council is currently seeking an enthusiastic, self-directed individual with proven high-quality customer service and retail skills to work in the Bathurst Rail Museum. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing high quality customer service in the day-to-day operations of a Museum or Tourism environment. Key Requirements
* Ability to provide high-quality customer service whilst exhibiting a positive image of the Museum and Bathurst Regional Council.
* Retail experience, including cash handling, shop presentation skills and stocktaking.
* Demonstrated experience in dealing with people in a polite, timely and informative manner.
* Demonstrated ability to be self-motivated and undertake tasks unsupervised.
* Experience supervising other people.
* Ability to work cohesively as part of a team, providing positive input to reach mutual goals.
* Computer skills, including word processing, database management, web and social media platforms.
This position requires a pre-employment health assessment which includes a functional, audio and drug & alcohol screen.
Position Status: Permanent Part Time
Hours of work: 30 hours per week Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday - 8:45am to 5:00pm with a 45 minute lunch break
