Take your next career step by joining our leading Real Estate practice in Canberra on a permanent, full-time basis as a Practice Administrator.
As a PA at Clayton Utz, you are an instrumental part of our firm and will provide high quality administrative support services to two Partners and wider team of Lawyers and Law Clerks. Our Real Estate team is a high-profile market leader. We have a friendly, positive team culture, and we provide a challenging and rewarding workplace.
The position is office based (Monday - Friday) and the working hours are flexible, either 9am - 5pm or 10am - 6pm.
Key responsibilities
In this varied role, you will be responsible for:
- General accounts, reporting and monthly billing;
- Organising meetings and travel; and
- Working closely with a team of Law Clerks to support with general admin, the lodgement of documents and other ad hoc tasks to deliver exceptional service to our clients.
Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience working with Partners or C-level executives will be looked upon favourably, although not essential;
- An organised, efficient approach to administrative tasks;
- An ability to work collaboratively and effectively prioritise work to meet deadlines;
- Intermediate level skills with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook);
- A friendly and team-focused approach;
- Keen attention-to-detail, strong typing skills and a professional manner;
- A flexible approach to working with different stakeholders and their unique styles; and
- An ability to anticipate the needs of the Partners and wider team.
