We are seeking a reliable and skilled Workshop Hose Assembly Fitter to join our dynamic team in Mackay. In this role, you will provide efficient, accurate, and high-quality manufacturing services for our hose assembly and hose management programs both in our factory and on site.
Key responsibilities include:
- Manufacture and test hose assemblies to Australian Standards
- Perform workshop duties including works orders, scheduling, fitting, and cleaning tasks
- Safely represent the company when on site, adhering to Workplace Health and Safety guidelines
- Pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Operate forklift and conduct basic non-trades maintenance within the warehouse
- Use computer systems to manage stock control, purchase orders, invoicing, and customer enquiries
- Assist with stock receiving, storage, inventory checks, and maintenance of a clean, safe working environment
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hose assembly, manufacturing, or warehouse operations is preferred
- Strong knowledge of workshop procedures and safety practices
- Forklift licence and experience operating warehouse equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Physically fit to perform manual handling including lifting items over 25kg, reaching, twisting, and pushing trolleys
- Capability to work in both internal and external environments safely
