* Salary range: $37.92 to $040.25 p.h. (Nurse Grade 3)
* 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading

About your opportunity
Parklands Residential Aged Care Facility (RACF) is a Queensland Health managed aged care service within the Townsville Hospital and Health Service (THHS) and is located in Townsville at the Kirwan campus. The facility provides care for 70 residents with 30 places for dementia care and 40 places for older persons who require care due to fragility and complex needs.
The Enrolled Nurse (EN) assists in the delivery of competent and quality nursing care under the direction of senior nursing staff whilst assisting in the achievement of service goals.
Requirements:
Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration
* Qualification: Diploma of Nursing or equivalent certification relevant to the position is mandatory.
* Nursing: Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and possession of a current practising certificate.
* Shift Workers: Appointees will be required to work all shifts in accordance with the unit roster.
* Aged Care Pre-Employment Screening: Applicants are advised this position works in an identified Aged Care Facility as per the Aged Care Act 1997 and therefore requires employees and volunteers to have a current National Police Certificate.
* This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
