B2B Sales role with German manufacturer of wheels & castors for the Medical, Furniture & Institutional sector

**Your new role**
The Area Sales Manager is responsible for implementing TENTE sales strategies locally and achieving profitable growth within the assigned geographic area or market segment. Key responsibilities include:
- Autonomously initiate, manage and complete sales projects by following the strategy of TENTE
- Identify new sales opportunities by gathering knowledge about the market, target customers and solutions or products of relevant competitors
- Maintain existing customer relationships and proactively attract new potential customers by understanding their needs, offering solutions & providing technical and financial advice
- Take full account of assigned customers by attending customer meetings, preparing and presenting quotes, negotiating contracts as well as handling complaints and objections
- Be the primary contact person to (potential) customers - building trust and centring all sales activities on customer satisfaction
- Contributing to the local sales development of the company by providing local market insights and exchanging experiences and market knowledge with the local TENTE sales team
- Create forecasts and reports about sales development, monitoring sales activities and deriving actions to ensure the achievement of targets
- Develop and implement activities to expand and consolidate TENTE's presence working closely together with adjoining departments (e.g. Marketing or R&D)
- Execute planned and ongoing activities as well as relevant documents on TENTE's CRM-system
- Participate in and contribute to global projects, exhibitions or international TENTE-events
**What you'll need to succeed**
- A practical understanding of technical concepts
- Several years B2B sales experience promoting products which require technical explanation
- Mechanical background highly favoured
- Experience using CRM software and Microsoft 365
- Current drivers licence and willingness to travel
- Full Australian work rights
