Job Description
Who we are looking for....
Our ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, proactive leader with the ability to manage a team in a fast-moving environment and drive the successful performance of a section of the production.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following components:
* Ensuring orders are packed and picked according to all appropriate procedures.
* Organising production activities ensuring objectives and targets are achieved within required time frames.
* Collaborating with the quality department to ensure assurance and systems compliance.
* Optimising current processes and instigation of continuous improvement activity.
* Providing leadership and daily direction for staff of your section.
* Driving the WHS program, ensuring the team follow all appropriate safety systems and processes.
Desired Skills and Experience
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following capabilities:
* Ability to work rostered hours consisting of Tuesday to Saturday, 6am start. (Saturday & Wednesday off).
* Hold a forklift licence (highly regarded) or applicant is driven to obtain licence whilst employed.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Motivated to continuously improve processes and procedures.
* Ability to coordinate activities efficiently and effectively.
* Knowledge of WHS regulations and requirements.
