About the role
We have an opportunity for a Senior Communications Officer to be part of our Technology and Communication Services Command. The Senior Communications Officer is responsible for providing situational leadership to a work group of Communications Officers to task, coordinate and monitor the activities of police resources responding to incidents. The role also processes urgent and non-urgent telephone calls providing timely information to operational police to enable appropriate action to be taken.

* Completion of Communication Officer training course
* Attainment of Communications Officer fourth year increment
* Completion of Leadership in the Workplace training course or equivalent skills and qualifications.

Prior to commencement, the successful candidate will be required to undergo a rigorous National Police (criminal history) Check and obtain and maintain a Security Clearance as determined by the NSW Police Force.
