About the Role
This exciting opportunity is part of our Allied Health Research and Knowledge Translation program, funded by the Department of Health. The program aims to enhance research, education, and leadership capacity for allied health professionals, supporting the development and implementation of allied health-specific research.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will design, develop, and implement research projects, as well as support the growth of research activity and skills for allied health professionals over a 2-year period. Key priorities include:
* Digital technology to improve health outcomes
* Novel models of care to improve patient and health system outcomes
* Increasing the evidence base for allied health interventions in an area of interest to the applicant
Qualifications and Experience Required
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A recognized graduate entry-level qualification in a relevant Allied Health discipline
* Completion of a research doctorate (PhD) or significant progress towards completion
* A beginning track record of successful and productive research related to Allied Health practice
* A strong commitment to evidence translation to improve patient outcomes and experience
