About the role
As the Indigenous Sector Outreach Manager at the Dilin Duwa Centre, you\'ll develop and implement cutting-edge outreach strategies that bridge academia and the Indigenous community. You\'ll work with internal teams and external partners to shape the Centre\'s public image, influence decision-making, and support its mission in higher education. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on Indigenous engagement while honing your skills in marketing, communications, and stakeholder management.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement marketing strategies: Create and execute outreach plans aligned with the Centre\'s goals, overseeing all aspects of marketing and communications.
- Manage stakeholder relations: Serve as the primary liaison between external partners and internal teams, ensuring clear communication and timely delivery of marketing campaigns.
- Oversee brand consistency: Collaborate with the First Nations Media Manager to maintain a consistent brand identity across all communications channels.
- Coordinate alumni engagement: Manage the MURRA Collective, facilitating alumni communications and documenting key event outcomes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor\'s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field, with at least four years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated experience liaising between external partners and internal teams in a marketing or project management role.
- Strong skills in managing marketing campaigns, including digital marketing initiatives.
- Excellent communication abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in project management, including managing approvals processes and meeting deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills for understanding customer needs and identifying market opportunities.
