My client is a privately owned, high-end building products supplier that has renowned product and has already established itself as a top player in the decorative surfaces industry in Australia. This role is critical for the continual growth and development of the company's expansion plans. They continue to introduce new and innovative products to gain further market share within Australia.
**Role**
As the new Area Manager, your primary responsibility is to maintain and develop key clients in the residential construction space, as well as maintain a territory of cabinet makers, kitchen retailers & stone masons in the Western Melbourne area. This opportunity would suit a dynamic and career driven salesperson that has good exposure to the resi construction space and is looking to grow within a business long term.
**Skills & Experience**
We are seeking applicants who can demonstrate the following skills and experience;
- Strong presentation skills with an ambitious & outgoing personality
- Experience in Stone and/or decorative surfaces is highly desired
- Existing relationships within the desired customer segments in the description above
- Experience within building products sales is a must have
- Proven track record in sales and overachieving targets
- Good technical understanding of the construction industry in general
- High degree of energy, be self-motivated and desire to be rewarded for your hard efforts
- Stable track record of employment and desire to move into a long-term career role

**Salary**: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
