About The Role
We are seeking a skilled Cloud Sales Engineer to join our Enterprise team. This individual will possess expertise in cloud architecture best practices and cyber security.
The Cloud Sales Engineer will be responsible for establishing strong relationships with local teams, customers and partners. They will integrate CrowdStrike technologies and products with cloud technologies such as AWS, GCP, Azure, Kubernetes distributions like Cloud provider services and Red Hat OpenShift.
Collaboration will span internal teams, strategic cloud partners, open source communities and standard bodies for secure cloud computing.
Contributions include establishing technical aspects of cloud partner initiatives, creating reference architectures, building training and cloud sales enablement.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure effective technical field sales coverage of accounts
* Engage core account sales teams for strategic plans and objectives
* Collaborate cross-functionally for key stakeholders and business-line owners
* Act as an interface between field/customer requirements and CrowdStrike Product/Engineering teams
* Provide feedback on customer requirements and adoption of products
* Drive customer/partner meetings through calls, relationship building, solution selling and problem resolution
* Help build field enablement documentation and training that is sector specific
* Guide on complex technical issues using in-depth knowledge
* Deliver development and improvement of methods, techniques and evaluation processes
* Be a cloud subject matter expert presenting at industry conferences and marketing events
Requirements
* 5+ years experience in consulting or sales engineering roles, particularly in cloud and cyber security
* Hands-on experience with Kubernetes container solutions, cloud security posture management and cloud workload protection
* Articulate complex security problems to diverse audiences
* Technical understanding of incident response, computer forensics, network administration and endpoint security technologies
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
* Strong problem-solving skills with ability to implement systematic approaches
* Bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
* Cloud Service Provider Certification
