We currently have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and driven Conference & Events Manager to join our team at the award winning Holiday Inn Sydney Airport.

Located in the heart of Mascot suburban, with all 252 rooms recently renovated, the contemporary rooms are designed to make our guests smile. From the comfortable beds, 55-inch TVs, Nespresso Pod machines, free Wi-Fi and soundproof windows with black out blinds, our rooms are designed to make our guests forget the outside world, and enjoy their time with us.

**Your day to day**
As a Conference & Events Manager, you will be responsible for working closely with the Director of Sales & Marketing to drive banquet & meetings sales and exceed monthly, quarterly and yearly targets. On the daily you will take enquiries and convert them into sales, communication with clients, support the conference and events operational team with the event on the day, review client satisfaction levels and monitor productivity and revenues goals by maintaining sales action plans.

**What we need from you**
- Experience in Conference & Events Sales and are ready to take the next step in your career
- Ability to build genuine connections with guests and colleagues
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Conflict resolution and communication skills
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of Hotel Property Management Systems - Opera & Delphi experience would be highly regarded
- Eligibility to work full time in Australia.
